Second child and oldest daughter to Siosi’ana Lupe’eke Tupou (Kolovai, Ahau, Ha’avakatolo) and the late Taniela Finau Makisi (Fo’ui), born in King George Children’s Hospital in Sydney, Australia on the 1st of September, 1986. Attended high school at MLC Burwood in Sydney from 1999 – 2004. I am currently a fourth year undergraduate student at The University of Sydney, studying a combined degree of Arts/Laws (B.A./L.L.B) majoring in Sociology and minoring in Government and International Relations in which I am pursuing a honours degree. My hobbies are reading, horse-riding, hiking and travelling.
I am very passionate about education, and especially education for women from Polynesian cultures. To educate a woman, is to educate her family, her village, her off-spring and therefore her culture. If we can help reform our culture, make it more approachable and contemporary, we will have the most efficient tool in tackling many problems our youth are facing, and their over-population in juvenile facilities and prisons. I hope to one day begin my legal career in England, and become a solicitor specialising in criminal law/family law or conveyancing.
